Stage 8 to Alcazaren

18 kms. No towns in between, so just walking, got to town about 1pm. Had lunch at Bar Real. Brazilian pilgrim joined me, Wim and Josette arrived just as I finished. Bought some groceries then went to the alberque. Took the last bottom bunk. Washed some clothes, took a nap. The life of a pilgrim.

      Menu del dia usually 3 courses. All very good, but too much. No dinner, cafe con leche at first opportunity in the morning.

    Bill, we are behind you by about two days-took slightly different route from Cercedilla-went to Valsain then La Granja. We are now in the albergue in Villequillo.Finally figuring things out-burn Camino brother; blessings to you. Cyndi and Dave from MN
